Medical School: Arizona COM
I was born and raised in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. I attended the University of Idaho and when I was not studying Spanish and Biology I was traveling across South America, commercial fishing in Alaska and doing ironman triathlons. Having shoveled way too much snow in my life, I happily headed south to Phoenix to attend medical school at Midwestern University, AZCOM. For fun I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible and enjoy camping, fly fishing, rock climbing, running and when time allows triathlons with my wife.
I had the privilege of rotating in the Corpus Christi ED during my forth year of medical school and was amazed at how willing the staff was to help with learning process, always willing to review cases, and assist with procedures. The lack of competition from other residency paired with the supportive faculty base makes Corpus Christi a great learning environment.
