Arizona COM of Midwestern University

I’m from Norland, Idaho. Picture a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant, a sketchy bar and some potato cellars. That’s Norland. I spent virtually all of my time outside of school enjoying the great outdoors; skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, fishing, swimming, camping, hiking, mountain biking and racing motocross. I enjoy every outdoor activity.

Being a doctor was always my master plan, and I executed said plan by graduating from Idaho State University, then Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. I picked emergency medicine because it’s awesome, and obviously the best specialty, with the best people.

I wanted to come to Corpus because of the amazing people and the unique training environment. I didn’t rotate here as a student, but from the interview alone I knew I wanted to be here. From day one the other residents and faculty have felt like family. They put a smile on my face every day. All my friends are jealous that we don’t have to fight with surgery residents for procedures. There are plenty of critical patients to go around here, and our faculty are great at giving us the perfect balance of autonomy and supervision.

Come visit us and see how awesome we are!
